Who We Are A Family Run Business
Paintmyhome.ie, the brainchild of Shay Lally, culminates his experience working for Lally & White as a painter and site manager, his training in D.I.T. as a quantity surveyor, a period working with an interior fitout and refurbishment contractor in Dublin, many years experience working in private practice across Ireland and the U.K. as a commercial manager, and his sales marketing experience obtained from the Mobile Music School.
However, our origins stem back to 1957 when Shay’s father, Jimmy Lally, began to serve his time as a painter decorator with Tracey’s of Stoneybatter.
Upon completion of the apprenticeship and working as a chargehand for Tracey’s, Jimmy went on to form Lally & White Painting Contractors. Lally & White quickly established themselves as a leading painting company in the 1970s.
Today, we offer clients a comprehensive range of services aimed at enabling them to create beautiful homes that are modeled and decorated for everyday life.

Painting is at the core of everything that we do here at Paintmyhome.ie. We use paint to enhance, rejuvenate, decorate and refresh homes throughout Dublin.
Paintmyhome.ie are experts in the preparation and application of paint, varnish and woodstain.
We have expertise in the application of all trade approved paint brands, including Crown, Dulux, Fleetwood, Little Greens, Colourtrend, Farrow & Ball, Sandtex, Sadolins, Ronseal and Sanderson.

Paper Hanging

Paintmyhome.ie are specialists in this field and employ time served paperhangers to ensure each length and roll of paper is perfectly hung.
Our paperhangers are experienced in the transformation of rooms through the preparation of surfaces and hanging of wallpapers and wall-coverings.
We regularly hang wallpaper and wallcoverings from the following brands – Cole & Son, Little Greene, Osborne & Little, Morris & Co, Sanderson and Zoffany, and many others.

Colour Consultancy

Paintmyhome.ie employ professional and experienced colour consultants who have an eye for colour and the confidence to select bold colours and patterned wallpaper to ensure the correct colours and products are chosen to make your house a home.
By using the correct colours and wall coverings we ensure that each client’s expectations are superseded on the completion of all paintmyhome.ie’s projects.
For a set fee, our colour consultants are available to choose a suitable colour palette for your home, prior to our team commencing work on your home.
